Nobu
Every dish was perfection. The attention to detail applied to every single dish is noticeable. One of the best dining experiences I constantly have in Perth. Michelle looked after us very well, gave the best recommendations, and ensured we had an amazing anniversary dinner.

While the service was great, I thought the food was average. Highlights were the pork belly, chocolate salmon and miso cappuccino. While the miso cod was tasty, we found a rather large bone - usually not something I'd complain about as I understand it does happen from time to time, but it was disappointing considering the small piece of fish by itself was over $50.Ended up being around $420 for 4 people, including 2 desserts and 3 alcoholic drinks.

Everything in the bento box is super delicate and yummy. Each portion may look small but wash it down with a glass of bubbly it's just nice.

We love Japanese food (and have been to Japan 7 times) so finally decided to try Nobu.First of all, the service was excellent. Much better than Rockpool although not as refined as some of the other fine dining places in Perth (Twenty Seats or Wildflower) but enthusiastic and on point. Glasses were kept topped up and the food came at a great pace. The atmosphere as well? Great. Tables were full (despite it being a Monday night) but noise levels were good and there was a nice ambience. The food? It was good but didn't blow us away. We had the Nobu signature omakase. Stand out dishes were definitely the Toro tartare with caviar (starter with a delicious kick of wasabi) and their signature dish of Black cod miso. The salad with lobster was nice but not amazing. The sushi, again nice. Good quality fish, some unusual ones but in all honesty even compared to Jaws sushi, the cuts were quite thin and the taste not much more stand out. The scallop in the rice bubble was a bit bland and would've been nicer Aburi fashion (and I love scallops). Red emperor sashimi, again nice but nothing to really differentiate it. Beef teriyaki was good - beautiful soft beef but some of the vegetables and beef itself was still cold when eating it despite it being served sizzling. The dessert was a fabulous cheesecake. My partner looooved the cheesecake - unfortunately I can't stand cheesecake so he was lucky enough to get two.Maybe I would've enjoyed it a bit more picking my own dishes instead of doing the degustation but hey. Hindsight is a beautiful thing.

When you spend $89 for a half of lobster at nobu, that's what you gonna get.No presentation required just chuck everything into a bowl. Taste was blend. Maybe because we lost appetite by looking at it.Most disappointing lobster we've ever had.

Food was absolutely nice especially black cod. However, we got our food one by one. We thought black cod and steak were main. So we expected to get it at the same time but we didn't. We needed to wait between all the food.

This is a type of Japanese fusion kitchen. Always full booking. Price is high. Worth to change your routine dishes. Those we ordered for 6 adults. Really full.

Excellent customer service! Being very welcomed as soon as walked in. Sushi is good and fresh. The portion of bento is perfect for one (you can be quite full from it). 1 star is off because it didn’t WOW me (but doesn’t mean it’s not good). Pricey but reasonable especially paying for such customer service!

Had a great experience the other day for the first time! Some of the menus are recommended for the first time but I can see I will not be ordering some of the same menus next time.Sashimi, oysters and sushi rolls are definitely worth a try though (had to order a second round of sashimi so that should tell you!)
